Privacy Policy

Pace is built around respecting your attention. We feel the same way about your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

This website and the Pace waitlist are operated by Pace Amora LLC (“Pace,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Pace operates the consumer dating product marketed as “Pace” (and listed in app stores as “Pace Dating”).

2. Scope of this policy

This policy currently covers our marketing website and waitlist at pacedating.co. It does not yet cover the Pace mobile application, which is in development. When the app launches, this policy will be expanded (or a separate in-app policy provided) to address account data, profile content, photos, messages, location, and the other information a dating service necessarily processes.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you submit, which may include:

• Your first name (optional)
• Your email address (required)
• Your general location (the metro area or region you select)
• Whether you indicate interest in founding membership

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our site and the tools that support it (such as our hosting provider and email service) may automatically receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed. This may be collected through cookies or similar technologies used by those providers.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Add you to the Pace waitlist and tell you when Pace is available in your area;
• Send you occasional updates about Pace, including founding-membership information if you asked for it;
• Understand demand by region so we can plan our launch (for example, prioritizing Atlanta);
• Operate, secure, and improve our website;
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your waitlist information to serve you third-party advertising.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the waitlist and our business:

• Service providers. Companies that help us operate, such as our email/marketing platform and website host, process your information on our behalf and under our instructions.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Pace, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If Pace Amora LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (including a potential reorganization into a corporation), your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us at admin@pacedating.co. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will honor those requests as required by applicable law.

7. Data retention

We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to operate the waitlist and our pre-launch communications, and to comply with our legal obligations. If you unsubscribe or ask to be removed, we will delete or de-identify your information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it by law.

8. How we protect and store your data

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information and our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that personal information will never be altered, accessed, disclosed, or destroyed by a breach. We strive to protect your information by complying with applicable U.S. federal and state regulations.

If we become aware of a breach of our systems, we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. If you transmit information to us through our services or store it on the Site, you do so at your own risk, and we encourage you to take your own precautionary measures to protect your personal data.

By using our services, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically at the email address you provide to us. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To receive free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent to electronic notice of a security breach), please email us at admin@pacedating.co.

9. Age requirement

Pace is a dating service intended only for adults 18 years of age and older. Our website and waitlist are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it, unless we are legally required to retain it. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, please email us at admin@pacedating.co and we will promptly remove it.

10. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) notice

This section addresses specific disclosure requirements under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (as amended) for California residents. It applies to “personal information” that is subject to that law and to California residents who visit our Site or use our services.

California residents have the right to request access to certain personal information collected about them over the past 12 months, and to request deletion of their personal information, subject to certain exceptions. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of your rights under the CCPA. We may require additional information to verify your identity before processing a request, and we may be unable to process a request if we cannot verify your identity. 11. European Economic Area (EEA) and UK resident rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following data protection rights:

• You can access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at admin@pacedating.co.
• You can object to the processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict processing, or request portability of your personal information.
• You have the right to opt out of marketing communications at any time using the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in our emails, or by contacting us.
• If we processed your personal information with your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal, or processing carried out on lawful grounds other than consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority regarding our collection and use of your personal information. We respond to all requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws and within a reasonable timeframe, except where we must retain information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

12. Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL)

CASL applies to commercial electronic messages of all types (email, text, and similar) that encourage participation in a commercial activity. It generally requires organizations that send such messages within, from, or to Canada to obtain consent before sending them. Consent may be express (for example, signing up for our waitlist or mailing list online, or making an information request through our services) or implied for a limited period following an inquiry.

If you are on our mailing list, you may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribe instructions are included with each of our emails. If you choose to unsubscribe, we will remove your address within a reasonable period.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Pace grows and as the app launches. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
